What's Your Story?
Whatever brings you to us, Story Physical Therapy is here to help.  Physical Therapy, delivered by a Licensed Physical Therapist, is a very effective way to conservatively treat pain and dysfunction while decreasing the need for medicine and surgery.  At Story Physical Therapy you can expect precise attention to detail, a comprehensive treatment program, and close communication with your medical team as indicated.

Here's Our Story...
Story Physical Therapy, Inc. was established in 2009 by Stephen B. Story, D.P.T., M.P.T. to deliver the highest standard of care
in a very friendly environment.  At our clinic you will receive individualized care by a Physical Therapist who is licensed by the Kentucky State Board of Physical Therapy.  Dr. Story’s passion is to provide the highest standard of individualized care so you can get back to whatever you enjoy doing as quickly as possible!  We continually work to achieve the best possible outcomes for our patients.  Through participation in advanced clinical education, we learn the most up-to-date evidence-based evaluation and treatment skills.  Continuing education, use of the most advanced treatment techniques, and state-of-the-art equipment are important aspects of Story Physical Therapy’s commitment to their patients and referring professionals.  Staff members are sensitive to the specific needs of each patient.

Baxter, a two year old Golden Doodle, has been a member of the Story family since Christmas 2010. Baxter currently “volunteers” part time while he completes the necessary training to be certified as a Therapy Dog. Animals have long been recognized as a positive addition to the healing process. In facilities, visits from Therapy Dogs have shown an increased happiness, calmness, and overall emotional well-being. Studies have shown a decrease in blood pressure and stress levels during Therapy Dog visits. Additionally, therapy dogs can be very active participants in physical therapy rehabilitation.
